1. What information do we need to provide the Game Services

We collect four main categories of data (and to the extent it may enable the identification of a specific person, or is linked to such potentially identifying data, we will deem it as “Personal Data”):

Data automatically collected or generated:

When someone visits, interacts with or uses our Services, including any e-mail or text messages sent to them by us or via our Services, we may collect or generate technical data about them. We collect or generate such data either independently or with the help of third party services, including through the use of “cookies” and other tracking technologies (as further detailed below).

Such data consists of connectivity, technical or aggregated usage data, such as IP address, in-game identifier, game statistics, game preferences, unique advertising ID (e.g. IDFA; you may reset such ID based on the operating system instructions ), non-identifying data regarding a device, operating system, browser or App version, mobile carrier, locale and language settings, user activity on our Services, in-App or Game activity (such as game play content/product interaction and advertising data); diagnostic data (i.e. crash data and game performance data). We do not use such data to learn a person’s true identity or contact details, but mostly to have a better understanding on how our users typically use and engage with our Services. The use of such technical and device data also helps us and our partners to deliver interest-based or otherwise more effective advertisements and content, to optimize our ad management and our users' viewing experience), and to improve the overall performance and your user experience of our Services. You may provide us Personal Data voluntarily, such as when you set up an account with us, contact us (through Facebook, Messenger, e-mail, in-game chat or any other channel, including any support services), when you post on our public forums or groups, when you provide us your e-mail address (such as when you sign-up to receive e-mail updates or gifts), when you participate in competition, contest, tournaments and other promotions, when you place any purchases in any of our Games, when you interact with other users through the in-game chat or when you choose to connect your Facebook, Google, Apple or similar account to any of our Games.

Data received from Facebook and other channels:

Once you connect the Games to your Facebook, Google, Apple or similar account, we will receive access to your public profile, including (to the extent you defined it as “public”), as applicable, your full name, e-mail address(es) provided to Facebook, Google or Apple, gender, profile picture or similar photo, location, time zone, and a list of your friends playing the Games (along with their photos and other public profile information). This will also allow us to present your and your friends’ public profile images inside the Games and to create your in-game friends list. In addition, we or our advertising partners may receive from Facebook and our other marketing channels general information concerning the performance of our advertising campaigns, such as the targeted age group or interests, and we or our partners may be able to link such general data to any other data in our possession.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal and non-personal information, both individually and in aggregate, in the following ways:

Operate, improve, and develop our games and services;

Populate online leaderboards and enable online challenges;

Help you find your friends or tell your friends about a product;

Provide game experiences customized to your preferences;

Facilitate your gameplay on multiple devices, when available;

Identify, fix, and troubleshoot bugs and service errors;

Adhere to your preferences and to deliver dynamic content; and

Help keep our services safe and fair, resolve disputes, investigate and help curb fraud and illegal behavior, comply with the law, and to enforce our agreements and policies.

Help identify and troubleshoot problems with your account or games;

Communicate with you and respond to your specific requests or questions; and

Manage and send you confirmations and important information about your products.

To personalize our communications with you, including to:

Present offers or information relating to games you might like;

Make recommendations to you; and

Personalize advertising for you and deliver targeted marketing, service updates and promotional offers.

We uses analytics services to understand how users engage with our products. Our analysis relies on your consistent device identifier, or identifier for vendor (IDFV) on Apple devices, so that we can track your behavior over time and develop an understanding of how you prefer to interact with our products. If you have more than one our product installed on your device, those products may share the same identifier value. This enables us to develop an understanding of how you engage with all of our products you have installed. The identifier value is provided to us through the operating system on your device. In the course of processing your data, we may do any of the following:

Analyze your behavior in our products over time;

Analyze your behavior in aggregate;

Combine your information with the information of other players to create anonymized aggregate reports that allow us to understand large-scale behavior trends;

Analyze your information to understand how well our products perform on your device or to investigate bugs, crashes, and other technical issues;

Combine your information with the information of other players to create customer segments based on behavior in our products or location-based behavior;

Use analysis of your behavior in our products to provide you with customized gameplay experiences;

Use your device identifier to enroll you in an A/B test. An A/B test is a type of simple behavioral experiment wherein groups of users are provided with slightly different experiences in our products so that we can research and analyze which of the experiences is the most compelling to users of our products; and

Analyze your behavior in the context of an A/B test.

European Economic Area (EEA) Only:

Per requirements under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we log your consent state for compliance purposes. This information is stored on servers hosted in the EU and is used solely for GDPR compliance. Your device identifier is stored along with your consent status. If you consent to personalized advertising, your device advertising identifier also is stored in case we need to be able to access it to assist you with data portability or erasure requests. Your device advertising identifier is not stored in our consent logging database if you do not consent to personalized advertising.

3. sharing of your information

We may share information we collect for the following purposes:

Service Providers. With service providers that perform services on our behalf or enhance our Services, including hosting services, customer service, analytics services and to assist us in our marketing efforts;

Payment Processors. With third-party payment processors that process payments you make;

Advertising Partners. Advertisers, ad exchanges and other ad technology companies that require the data to select and serve our relevant advertisements to you and others, and assist us in our marketing efforts, including as described in the Online Advertising section below;

Authorities and others. With law enforcement and public authorities, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above;

With acquirers and other relevant participants (and their advisors) in business transactions (or negotiations of or due diligence for such transactions) involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale or other disposition of all or any portion of the business or assets of, or equity interests in, Studio or our affiliates (including, in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings); and

Your specified recipients. We may disclose personal information about an individual to certain other third parties or publicly with their consent or direction.

4. Age&Children

Our Services are not intended for children.

We have implemented age-gate to its games to verify players’ age. Even if you are below the age needed for providing a valid consent for targeted advertising, profiling and geolocation, you can continue accessing our Services. However, there will be no profiling, targeted advertising or geolocation tracking, Our Services will then only contain contextual advertising. We will only collect data, on players under 13 years of age, (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions in the European Union), when it is needed to provide the service and ensure that they are protected in accordance with the applicable privacy laws.

If you are above 13 years of age, (or above 16 in certain jurisdictions in the European Union), we may offer the option to connect with Facebook. In this situation please refer to Facebooks privacy policy.

If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions in the European Union) who uses our Services, please contact us, if you have any questions or comments. On your request we will delete your child’s personal information if we are able to identify your child, unless you provide us with your verifiable consent for your child to continue to use our games.

5. Data Retention

We store data on servers in the U.S. or any other country. We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide you Services, unless we are required by law to delete or if we accept your request to delete the information pursuant to applicable law. We will also retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When we no longer require your personal information, we will look to delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will apply security measures to your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. If we anonymize your personal information (so that it can no longer be associated with you), we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

We have put in place reasonable controls designed to help safeguard the personal information we collect via our products. However, no security measures are perfect and we cannot assure you that personal information that we collect will never be accessed or used in an unauthorized way.
